In 1997 Brother Christopher McBean and Brother Basil Powell had a combined evangelistic effort at the Morant Bay Seventh-day Church under the guidance of the Adventist Youth Department headed at that time by Sister Beverley McDermott.

The event was in the form of a Youth Summer Crusade. At the end of which over forty persons gave their lives to Jesus. The success of that effort planted a deep desire for soul winning and member retention in the heart of Brother Powell. He now head "OPERATION LOST SHEEP" a site designed for rescue, encouragement and directing those who walk or once walk with us.
